Roofing is priced and sold in squares of 100 sq ft. Bundles, boxes and squares per square depend on the shingle type — asphalt and solar shingles are 3 bundles per square, wood 4 (shakes up to 5), and metal, rubber, slate and clay are sold in larger units. Prices are per square and pre-filled per type; override with a real quote. Slate and clay roofs are very heavy and may need engineered framing.
